ABOUT GOLDEN HORSE FARM

Hello! My name is Jake. Along with my wife Brittni and our two sons, we are the proud owners and breeders of Golden Horse Farm.    Golden Horse Farm is a 16+ acre farm located on the Eastern Shore of Maryland. On our farm, we raise and care for horses, chickens, and Pure-Bred Golden Retrievers. We are a small home-based breeder specializing in golden retrievers. Brittni and I take pride in breeding our Goldens responsibly. Preserving the breed is our number one priority. Over the years, we have carefully cultivated an exceptional small breeding program. Our dogs have highly exceptional pedigrees that exemplify decades of devoted diligent breeding practices. Besides the magnificent pedigrees, all of our dogs have wonderful happy, friendly, and loving temperaments.

 

All of our Sires and Dams that are actively breeding are AKC Registered and OFA certified for hips and elbows.  Additionally, we have had all of our dogs genetically tested and they have been cleared of all diseases tested through Embark.

 

As much as we love our own dogs, we especially love raising beautiful litters of puppies.  Every litter born on our farm is taken care of as if it were our own and becomes part of the family. We get to know every personality and desired trait to help each family pick out their new companion.
